I love this song sfm ♥ and yet I don’t listen to it extremely often for some reason, lol. Maybe that’s why I think that I’ll never get tired of it.

Love the original Maroon 5 song, love this cover. I think this is the only cover I’ve ever heard that I really, really like. Nothing else to say except… GD is awesome?

HONORABLE MENTION: Joo Yi of Rania has a really amazing voice. She has good covers of Christina Aguilera songs, like “I Turn to You,” though sometimes I feel she’s trying too hard to show that she can sing.

Have I mentioned how much I love SS501’s “Sexy Charisma” Park Jungmin?! This isn’t a serious dance battle (lol) but it makes me laugh so much every time I watch it. Nobody can beat either Jungmin or Brian Joo in the diva department (except maybe Jo Kwon, lmao). Also this is one of the best Strong Heart episodes I’ve watched, even though only three out of the five SS501 members were guests. Hyunjoong is just hilarious on variety shows! XD Makes me wish SS501 was still together.

I knew I was going to fall behind on this haha. Oh well, might as well finish it today!

This one’s hard because I actually dislike listening to covers; I always end up liking the original version by far. That being said, IU’s “I Need a Boy,” a cover of “I Need a Girl” by Taeyang, is pretty good, even though it lacks GD’s awesome rap. I find the fact that IU is a big fan of Taeyang really cute, haha.

Day 25 “Your favorite k-pop music video” is a repeat of Day 11, so I changed it to favorite choreography… which is Beast’s “Soom/Breath”! I didn’t like this song that much at first, but the second I saw the choreography I was completely sold. I love this choreo so much, especially that first move at the beginning… that body wave/breathing gesture (lol I don’t know how to describe it).

Rania! Extremely unpopular due to their sexy concept, which is all they’re practically known for… And they are therefore very under-appreciated for their singing abilities. Lots of noise marketing for being affiliated/produced by Teddy Riley, but now that he’s deserted them, I think Rania is unfortunately going to fade out of sight once everybody gets over their raunchy outfits and lyrics. This is really too bad, because they really can sing. Their song isn’t that great, though; “Dr. Feel Good” is really repetitive and it does remind me of “Sweet Dreams” in some parts, but it’s my guilty pleasure lol. It would have been interesting to see them debut in America like they were planning to from the beginning, although I doubt they would have had much success (even though their English is pretty good).

Rania was a nice change from all the other girl groups out there. If they ever do come back with a new mini album, I really hope they don’t regress to the cutesy girly concepts. I think they might have to, though, in order to gain popularity and not just bad press for their suggestive choreography. I do hope their management company doesn’t fail them.
